National ROV Competition Longmont, CO

Recently, our Alpena High School Remotely Operated Vehicle team (ROV) won 1st place in the Great Lakes Regional Competition for Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE). This has qualified our team for the annual MATE international ROV competition will take place June 21-24, 2023, at the innovation center in Longmont, CO, USA. This an amazing opportunity for Alpena students to compete against teams from Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and more.
