Earn College Credit & Certifications
 

  • ARTICULATED CREDIT – By identifying comparable coursework, your high school has partnered with local colleges to create agreements that give you FREE COLLEGE CREDIT for the high school classes you are taking that have equivalent content as college classes.

    DIRECT CREDIT/CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT – Students earn college credit by taking college-level courses taught by credentialed instructors at their high school. There is a fee associated with this type of credit

Marketing

This course will take students through the dynamic world of marketing and merchandising.  Real world marketing will be a part of every class through the use of the Internet, computer simulations, projects and guest speakers. 

Advanced Marketing VEI (Sports and Entertainment)

This one year course is designed to provide training in developing a virtual sports and entertainment business through VEI. VEI entrepreneurs learn by doing!  This simulated business replicates all of the functions and demands of a real business in both structure and practice, from product development, production and distribution to marketing, sales and human resources, finance and accounting. 

Advanced Marketing SBE  (School Based Enterprise: Campus Closet)

This one year course is designed to provide training in managing the operations of a retail store under real conditions in the school based enterprise, Campus Closet. Course topics include: business communications; retailing, budgeting, purchasing, pricing, and sales analysis; visual and display design, marketing research, advertising and management.
