APS Special Board Meeting 5 24 25 8 AM

The APS board voted to accept the State of Michigan forgiveness plan for days missed due to the ice storm this spring. The action becomes official upon the expected signing of the bill by the Governor.  The vote passed 4-0 with Board Members: Meinhardt, Hansen, Dziesinski, and Fritz providing a quorum. This means no additional school days will be added and the final day of school at APS will remain June 12th.  

Alpena Public Schools will accept sealed bids for Recycled Asphalt Project until Thursday, June 5, 2025.

Please be advised that a Non-Selective and Selective pesticide is expected to be applied to control Broadleaf weeds and grasses in Sidewalk cracks, Sports fields, and Fence lines. The approximate location of this treatment is at the AHS Campus and Stadium. The anticipated date of treatment will be 5/17/25 - 5/23/25.
