When a school bus comes to a stop and activates its red flashing lights, drivers traveling in both directions are required to come to a complete stop at least 20 feet away from the school bus. Drivers must remain stopped until the school bus resumes moving down the road or turns off its red flashing lights. Drivers who violate this section are guilty of a civil infraction and face fines between $100 and $500, and up to 100 hours of community service.

Agriscience students have had special visitors this past week thanks to AHS staff member Vinny Thomas. They have had the opportunity to care for a trio of baby goats and learn hands-on animal care by bottle feeding and caring for the goats during the school day.

We will be in Alpena on Tuesday, May 20 for an Information Session.
