4th of July Parade
I hope you will join us as we walk in the 4th of July Parade! Each year, we love coming together to decorate an APS school bus and float, and we invite our staff, students, and their families to walk along the route with us.
If you are joining us, please meet at the fairgrounds by 10:30 AM and look for the APS school bus. Participants are welcome to wear patriotic clothing, APS gear, or both. We will have an ample amount of goodies to pass out. For safety, we ask that an adult accompany all students.

We Have a Busy Summer Ahead!
Summer break began after school on Monday—yes, we exceeded our attendance target of 60% (66% of students showed up), so the day will count with the state. Tuesday, our entire administrative team engaged in a full day of professional development. We focused on developing our staff meeting agendas for next school year, aligning our work with the district's strategic goals, and reviewing our Rehmann employee engagement data. We also spent significant time diving deep into our Team Time process, which allows teachers to collaborate during the school year and focus on student performance data to improve classroom instruction.
On Wednesday, the administrative team met for a full day of collaboration with our Instructional Coaches, Behavioral Consultants, and Special Education Consultants. Our main goal was to ensure everyone is aligned on how these valuable support personnel will work together to support student engagement, improve student behavior, and help teachers continuously improve the delivery of instruction. There are many days of collaborative work scheduled throughout this summer for our teachers, coaches, consultants, and administrators to further clarify and improve our curriculum and instruction.
