Attention 7th & 8th grade football players and families for the Fall of 2026
There will now be 7th & 8th grade WILDCAT football teams that will be part of the Alpena Thunder Bay Middle School Sports programs.
There will be strictly a 7th grade team and strictly an 8th grade team. We will compete in the Big North Conference. Games will be held on Wednesdays after school. 7th grade games will be played first and 8th grade games will follow immediately after the completion of the 7th grade game.
The season will be 7 weeks long playing 6 games and 1 bye week. There will be 3 home games and 3 away games. There will be busing provided by the school to transport players to away games. Practices will take place at the middle school football field after school.
It will be FREE to all 7th and 8th graders that attend Thunder Bay Middle School that want to play. There will be more information coming out soon that will cover practice times, schedules, coaching staff, and sign ups. There will be a parent meeting held before school is let out for the summer.
