We serve a population of approximately 3,900 students in 6 elementary schools for grades K-5, a junior high for grades 6-8, and a high school for grades 9-12 as well as an alternative high school program.

May 2024 #WeAreWildcats Student Spotlight
Senior Olivia Miller is an outstanding student and leader at Alpena High School. In addition to being a member of the Alpena Early College program, she has earned accolades for her work in Advanced Marketing and DECA representing Alpena High School at the state and national levels. Olivia was recently named as an environmental ambassador for EarthEcho International.

Ann (Lappan) Garant serves as the Managing Attorney for the Cooley Law School Innocence Project. The Cooley Innocence Project is part of the Innocence Network which has been credited with the release of over 375 wrongfully convicted prisoners. Ann recently partnered with Alpena Community College to bring a panel discussion to our community titled “The Impact of Wrongful Conviction”.
