Graduating seniors interested in applying for scholarships awarded by the Alpena Education Association (AEA) should complete the applications below:

Alpena Community College Foundation

  • Scholarships for nearly every program of study! All students considering ACC should apply, even those who have applied to a four-year college/university!
  • Booklets available in Media Center or on ACC’s website under the “Financial Aid” tab. Essay required for all applicants.
  • Deadline: March 19, 2018

Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan (CFNEM)

  • Provides over 70 different scholarship funds to students residing in Northeast Michigan
  • Students must create username/password and apply online at CFNEM. Two letters of recommendation required.
  • Deadline: April 2, 2018

Scholarship Search Websites

  • There are many scholarship search websites available in which students create a profile based on their career interests, hobbies, ethnicity, etc. to narrow their search
  • Creating a profile and searching on these websites takes time and scholarships typically require an essay, video, design project, etc.
