Please complete the following form to submit a breakfast/lunch meal bag order for each student. To ensure your order is prepared, please fill out the form no later than each Wednesday for the following Wednesday pick-up.
@ TBJH: Wednesdays from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at TBJH (Pick up at the Back Café' Door).
@ Sanborn Elementary: Wednesdays from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
@ Elementary Schools: Wednesdays from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at respective elementary sites.

Meal Charging Policy
Charging for school meals refers to any time a student does not have enough money to cover the price of a meal at the point of sale. Charges for meals are permitted for students who occasionally forget or misplace their money up to a MAXIMUM of the dollar equivalent of:
- Elementary (Grades k-5)= 3 lunches and 3 breakfast meals or $13.50 in total charges.
- Secondary (Grades 6-12)= 2 lunches and 2 breakfast meals or $14.25 in total charges.
Snacks, a la carte items, or extras cannot be charged. Charging after May will not be permitted.
We ask that charges be paid promptly. Once a student reaches the charge limit, Alpena Public Schools will not let a child go hungry and will offer a USDA complete meal (or emergency meal) if the student does not have money for the meal or a packed lunch. Staff will notify building administration after the meal serve period, and administration will contact a parent or guardian.

Apply For Free/Reduced Meals ONLINE! We are pleased to announce that you may apply for Free or Reduced Meal Benefits over the Internet!
Do NOT fill out an application if you’ve received a letter this summer stating your child was already approved for free meals because you receive Food Stamps.
Reminder: All Kindergarten Students and New Students must pay full price for meals until his/her application has been approved even if his/her siblings receive free or reduced price meals.

Lunch Information is Online!
Parents can view student meal activity and account balances for their children using a secure website. The system requires parents to create a user account. Users must provide e-mail address, password, student name(s), student ID numbers as well as the student's date of birth. They will then receive an e-mail from MealMagic with a temporary password allowing them access to the account(s).
Breakfast Is Important! Did you know that students who eat breakfast are able to perform better in school? Research confirms that students who eat breakfast do better in reading and math, are able to be better problem-solvers, and are able to behave and concentrate better than students who haven't eaten. Alpena Public Schools has been serving school breakfast since 1984!
